Time: 10:00 - 10:30
Each morning starts with a half hour opportunity to meet, chat and grab a drink with other people who will be joining us throughout the day. We share a short welcome and introduce the schedule and daily topic with some refreshments so we can all catch our breath and collect our thoughts before starting the day.

Artist duo Hipkiss and Graney invited us to explore the role mycelium plays in our woodlands by asking everyone to create their own creature costumes, props and musical instruments inspired by an organism found within the forest ecosystem.
Mycelium are the fine fungal threads which connect forest flora, and in turn all the micro and macro organisms which keep all life on earth going. This wild workshop began with a presentation about these complex relationships, before asking us to craft our own organisms outfit and taking it out on parade across Stirchley and Hazelwell Park.
